About Us
The Northwest Rankin High School Science Ambassadors is a new organization led by science-enthusiastic students in grades 9-12. Members of the NWRHS Science Ambassadors are dedicated to sharing their love for science in hopes of inspiring the next generation of scientists in Mississippi.
Inspired by Science Fun Days conducted by the Northwest Rankin High School Science Olympiad team, the club was created 2022 with intent to provide insightful, science-themed outreach opportunities to the Northwest zone elementary schools. However, the Science Ambassadors plan to create events free-of-charge to reach as many students as possible.
"The mission of the NWRHS Science Ambassadors is to inspire and foster a love of learning in the future scientists of Mississippi by providing exposure to all disciplines of science to Northwest Rankin zone elementary students."
